I started The Prepared Dad because I believe the little things matter.

The camping trips.

The fishing adventures.

The backyard BBQs.

The conversations around the dinner table.

The moments that seem ordinary today but become the memories our kids carry for the rest of their lives.

Like many dads, I'm figuring things out as I go.

This site is a collection of lessons, ideas, resources and stories designed to help dads spend more quality time with their families, create unforgettable memories and be more prepared for whatever life throws their way.

I'm not trying to be the perfect dad.

I'm just trying to be the dad my kids remember.
